COLAB BOOK CLUB
Welcome to the CoLab Book Club blog. Here you'll find our regular book reviews covering everything from leadership and strategy to flow and team design. We're a friendly group who meet online each month (ish) to discuss thought-provoking non-fiction.
Whether you're looking for your next great read or are keen to be part of the conversation, browse our reviews and get in touch if you'd like to join the club.
The Culture Code - Daniel Coyle
"The Culture Code" by Daniel Coyle was our November #CoLabBookClub choice generating great beyond-the-book conversations as well about the importance and trickiness of building a positive, lasting culture.
Extraordinarily Badass Agile Coaching - Robert Galen
"Extraordinarily Badass Agile Coaching" by Robert Galen was this month's choice for #CoLabBookClub and was another winner of the #CompulsoryReading big tick.
The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team - Patrick Lencioni
It was a small but perfectly formed #CoLabBookClub this month. Small in numbers but big on engaging conversation and learning. We were thrilled to welcome another new member to our group - Ashley Power.
September's choice was "The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team" and was rightly given the #CompulsoryReading big tick!
Accelerate - Nicole Forsgren, Jez Humble and Gene Kim
Another month, another #CoLabBookClub. This time with some new faces - welcome Aaron Hodder and Kyla MacDonald to the group.
We're working our way through the classics and chose "Accelerate" as our book this month.
Sooner, Safer, Happier - Jonathan Smart
As longtime fans of "Sooner Safer Happier", the book was an obvious choice for our #CoLabBookClub read this month. It offered a fantastic opportunity for some members to read it for the first time, others to re-read for the 6th time (looking at you at Pete Tansey!) and all of us to share our thoughts.
